About the Role
We’re looking for a clinical informatics leader to help drive EHR optimization, workflow redesign, and governance strategy. In this fractional role, you’ll serve as a physician executive partner, ensuring that technology enhances—not hinders—clinical excellence and care delivery. Ideal for a seasoned CMIO or physician informaticist who thrives at the intersection of medicine and IT.
Requirements
Must-Haves
Board-certified MD or DO with active licensure
Experience in CMIO, ACMIO, or physician informatics leadership roles
Deep understanding of clinical workflows across inpatient and/or ambulatory settings
Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in EHR optimization and change management
Nice-to-Haves
Oracle Health / Cerner Millennium experience (PowerChart, documentation, physician tools)
Fellowship or formal training in Clinical Informatics
Experience with EHR governance frameworks, decision support strategy, and clinical adoption
Strong communication skills with both executive leadership and front-line clinical staff
